Constuction - the Crown Spas advantage

The Frame:

Crown Spas uses only treated lumber and 2 x 4's and 2 x 6's everywhere possible in the construction of the frame, all ends are re-treated after cutting, and only approved hardware is used in the assembly of our frames making them most likely the strongest in the industry. Our cabinets are then finished with either a cedar 2x6 top rail and 1x6 tongue and groove or the synthetic.

Insulation:

Crown Spas uses a much more energy efficient insulation system that utilizes the heat produced from the motors and reflects it back in to the hot tub giving you a considerable savings on hydro in the long term. Our high density reflective insulation is used on the perimeter and the floor creating a well insulated dead air space (WHICH YES, IS AN INSULATOR) and reflects the heat back into the hot tub. This Heat Lock System is a more efficient and sturdy method of insulation and construction is done to save the consumer money on Hydro and future service and ensure you have your hot tub for as long as you wish.

Plumbing:

The plumbing on a Crown Spas hot tub is run after the frame and surround are attached to the tub, and it is kept to the outer edge of the inside of the cabinet to ensure easier service when needed and maximize the performance of the jets by keeping the plumbing lines to the jets as short as possible.

Filtration:

Our state-of-the-art filtration system is programmable to clean you spa using the low speed of your jet pump. The Crown Spas pressure side filtration system begins with pulling the spa water from a skimmer and floor suctions and pushing the water through the cartridge filter where debris and contaminants are trapped. The water is then returned to the hot tub through several jets instead of just a couple like systems using a smaller circulation pump as a means of filtration. This method ensures a higher percentage of your water is filtered faster, giving you a quicker water turn over and a truer circulation resulting in cleaner water.

In addition to the pressure-side filtration, most Crown Spas hot tubs come with and advanced corona discharge ozone system. The concentrated ozone naturally purifies your spa water by destroying bacteria and leaving your spa water sparkling. The ozone system leaves a fresh "after rain" smell, lessening the odours produced from chlorine and other chemicals creating a more pleasant hot tub experience.

Additional Benefits:

Aside from a stronger, more reliable, more energy efficient and more serviceable product, this method of construction also allows for future upgrades with greater ease and less cost. Because of the ease of access and not having the tub buried in a redundant amount of spray foam, it gives the consumer the ability to do future upgrades such as lighting packages, salt water systems, upgrading pumps, and even adding jets in the future. This is an advantage that cannot be undervalued.
