Setup & Delivery Guidelines
Getting Ready For Delivery & Set Up Of Your New Spa Surface and pad requirements
  • Your new portable spa must be placed on a uniformly firm, flat and level surface. A concrete pad at least 4 inches thick is best.
  • If your spa is located near sprinklers, adjust or cap them so as not to hit the side of the spa.
Balconies and Deck Requirements
  • Decking must be constructed to support up to 120 pounds per square foot and conform to your local codes and guidelines. Please consult dealer as to the size and weight of your tub.
  • Balconies must also be constructed to meet current local codes.
  • Please consult your local authority on the requirements of fencing and gates, they may vary from location to location.
Access and Clearance
  • Your spa requires up to 48" of clearance through gates between houses and side fences and up to 9 feet of overhead clearance depending on the size of the unit.
  • The spa clearance required to turn a corner can be equal to or greater than the length of the spa.
  • All debris and obstructions must be removed prior to delivery. Any trimming of trees or bushes, removal of debris, levelling of ground or other general maintenance must be done prior to the delivery and is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Electrical Requirements
  • If your spa is a 110 Volt unit your spa will require a dedicated 110Volt, 20 amp circuit breaker with a maximum cord length of 15 feet.
  • If you spa is a 220 Volt unit you will require up to a 50 amp dedicated GFCI circuit breaker, depending on the spa model.
  • All electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician.
  • Please consult your dealer and electrican for codes and requirements as well as wiring requirements.
Set up and Delivery
  • Normal delivery consists of one or 2 men bringing the spa to a concrete slab or deck. The customer will be responsible for having any extra manpower required to get the tub in place as well as providing access to the site.
  • If upon arrival it is discovered that there is insufficient access to the location of the spa or extra manpower is required, there will be an extra charge for second or subsequent deliveries. Crane or equipment charges for the delivery would be the responsibility of the customer.
  • The time required to ser up your spa varies due to the complexity of each set up. However 1 to 1-1/2 hours is the normal time required.
  • It is impossible for us to guarantee and exact arrival time-all times are approximate.
  • Please remember it is the customers responsibility for the electrical line power installation, GFCI and final connection. WE CANNOT WIRE YOUR SPA FOR YOU.
  • Please read your invoice carefully, you should not expect anything not written on your invoice.
